Kiser Iron Works is located in Paint Rock, TX. Owner and blacksmith artisan R.W. (Randy) Kiser has been working as a custom blacksmith since 1990. Randy has been featured in magazines, galleries, local TV and newspaper. His work can be found in beautiful custom built homes and commercial businesses throughout the United States.
Kiser Iron is currently expanding and have now opened the showroom area with hand forged iron furnishings, books on iron design and blacksmithing, skewers, trivets, handforged cross necklaces, sterling silver blacksmith charms and decor items available to the general public.
Remember this is a working blacksmith shop!
We have the viewing window to see the blacksmiths at work without getting millscale flying into your eyes.
We are still working on the septic system and the new bathroom will be in soon, so until then we will not have signs out until we can accomodate the general public.
We are south of the Concho County Courthouse on Hwy. 83 and open usually Mon-Fri. 8-5 closed for lunch 12-1.
Randy Kiser will continue designing and commissioning custom forged furnishings and architectural designs and you can still contact him at the number listed on the contact tab.
We hope that when you are in the area you will stop in and visit the studio and don't forget to the see the Paint Rock Pictographs (you must call ahead to Fred and Kay Campbell Ranch for touring information), Kickapoo Antiques and Ingrid's Handwoven Rug Factory while you are in town.
When we complete our permanent website we will have a link to local businesses.
